Magazine Submitted by: Elaine Raphael on Jan 10th 2010 First had a chance to really sit down and study your magazine and found it extremely helpful besides the format put together in an easy to read manner. There are restaurants would never know or think of going and by getting an idea of their service, food and prices willing to experiment. With the certificates can literally go to town. Kol HaKovod!!! Keep up the wonderful work.
Also, just put Olympic Pita seond on my meat list restaurant, tried Bennys on Ocean Ave; have a buffet night for US*19.95 which is one we will go back to and take guests. The service was friendly and helpful; the meat was fresh and cooked to perfection.

Olympic Pita NYC Submitted by: Kobi Lippmann on Jan 7th 2010 As I work in the neiborhood, I decided to try Olympic Pita and see if it's truly an Israeli restaurant.
I was extremely surprised to see that they had my favorite food.
Yemenite soup, lamb shish-kabab, chips and Israeli salad.
It was authenticly tasty, delicious and affordable.
The waiter was pleasant and helpful within a pleasant atmosphere.
I will go back and try everything they have.
Go and enjoy.
Reply #1 submitted by: Steve on Jan 22nd 2010 Very confusing place. Waiters don't know the menu and whether the salad bar is included in anything. They also push more expensive items on you.

Aroma Pizza Cafe Submitted by: Josh and family on Jan 4th 2010 Took my family to Aroma after Shabbat January 2, 2010, and enjoyed it all. Sparkling clean (compare to other places - fech), updated appearance, delicious different food. Excellent service (is this really a kosher restaurant?!), overall an "A" grade.
party room Submitted by: sam on Jan 3rd 2010 Looking for a party room in Queens or Great Neck that can accommodate around 75 people for glatt kosher party. Can be in a restaurant or offsite (like a synogogue). Any suggestions?
M Restaurant Submitted by: gaby on Jan 2nd 2010 We ate there on 12/31/09. Because of New Year's eve, we were told by the owners-who are new and VERY nice with a desire to please-that they had overwhelming demand for reservations. This might explain the somewhat poor service. BUT, if that can be overlooked for the time, the food was excellent and portions were very generous. Prices were also quite reasonable for what you get. I had the ribeye and I could have shared it with my wife. Another couple said the same thing about what they ordered. So, if in choosing a restaurant, price and food is more important than service that may not be the best-though I can't generalize about the service from only one visit-I can recommend this restaurant highly.
Rare Steakhouse Submitted by: Jennifer on Jan 1st 2010 Eating at Rare was such an amazing dining experience. It was so great that I felt the need to share so that everyone can benefit from my spontanuity. The service was fantastic, everyone was so eager to please but most important, the food was delicious. Do yourself a favor and try Rare. You'll go back for seconds.

Chez Papa Ernie Submitted by: so and so on Dec 10th 2009 why dont you serve chinese
Chez Papa Ernie Submitted by: David Levy on Dec 10th 2009 The food is good, especially their burgers. I don't think their steaks are all that great, but they have great Chineese food, probably the best Kosher chineese in the city. Once you get used to your surroundings, its a cute little place, but at first, the paintings look a litle strange and out of place. Definitely a nice place to checkout when you're with your kids, lots of kid-friendly items on the menu.
China Glatt Submitted by: MICKEY MONTAL on Dec 10th 2009 I've eaten in almost every restaurant in the tri state area. My favorite is China Glatt. I feel that their service and food is fit for a king. My favorite; crispy duck. I haven't found anyone that can beat that dish. I have recommended that restaurant to many of my friends and they have all come back with favorable results. Keep up the good work
