Zanzibar is, at all times, hip, cool, relaxing and mysterious. The unique space allows guests to gather and enjoy good company, delicious food, and exotic cocktails in a sultry lounge setting. Zanzibar is great for large group gatherings as well as cozy, intimate dinners. The separate lounges can accommodate more than one party or event at a time.

Zanzibar’s sultry, multi-roomed lounge setting offers intriguing decor that is designed to transport its guests to the exotic island from which the restaurant takes it’s name. Stylish, yet casual, the main lounge features a long, translucent curved bar that lights up one side of the room, 15-foot high ceilings, and a wall of windows that open up onto the sidewalk for outdoor dining. A video screen at the end of the bar flashes abstract images, while the enormous tortuous photo adorns a large brick wall. Guests can relax on overstuffed ottomans and sofas, sipping exotic cocktails and lounging around the circular, open-pit fire place that highlights one of the two back lounges. The main dining room features intimate booths for casual diners. Eclectic, energetic music, spun by Zanzibar’s resident DJ, adds to the atmosphere.

With delectable dishes such as Moroccan Red Chicken, served with squash pie and apricot, raisin and almond relish, and Mediterranean Cigars - phyllo rolls stuffed with chicken, beef, or cheese - Zanzibar is a welcomed addition to the popular restaurants in the neighborhood.
