							| Nestled on tree-lined 78th Street on the Upper East Side, Bandol Bistro brings to the neighborhood a sense of the classics. French Provincial food is served nightly and patrons pack in regularly, a sure sign of the restaurant’s growing success and popularity.

When one enters Bandol, they are immediately whisked away into a Parisian journey that starts with the elegant, yet welcoming décor. Colorful tile patchwork is on display behind the bar, and the reflection of sunlight through the blue-tinted stained glass windows above the dining area bring a certain warmth to the room. Circular art-deco lamps suspended throughout bring forth a tasteful touch as well. The fresh flowers that bloom on the tabletops complete the bistro setting.

Appetizers are wide in range, with the house special “Fish Soup” ranking as tops in the city, according to the Zagat Survey. Entrees come in all shapes and sizes, as dishes such as the Sea Scallops with Truffle Sauce and Grilled Hanger Steak with Stewed Shallots represent the extremes in the variety found
 only here.

As a special treat, guests at Bandol are able to dine on the quiet side street outside which few restaurants are able to offer. The warmer spring and summer months make this a popular spot for the locals to enjoy their meals.

The wine list at Bandol Bistro is rather extensive, as over 140 bottles are available to choose from. Each night, a sampling of 30 glasses are available, and the Tuesday night wine tastings are becoming more and more popular each week.

Experience all of the classics of fine French cuisine in a clean, down to earth, no-nonsense atmosphere - dine at
 Bandol Bistro.
