Yuko restaurant opened 3 years ago, and has since been a major source for where all Upper East Siders find the freshest sushi and sashimi. A modern twist with classic preparation methods equal an exciting dining experience for guests young and old. With a clean decor and funky orange lighting, Yuko is a hidden gem on the well-kept secret of York Avenue.
Fresh fish is air shipped to Yuko restaurant directly from Japan, with many hard to find and special selections included in the delivery. Each week, the Chef showcases a different special fish, which keeps dinners coming back again and again. Yuko has come to be known for it’s special fusion rolls: Lobster Shrimp Asparagus Roll, Blue Crab Yellowtail Roll, and , the popular Eel Cheese Eggplant Roll with honey soy sauce presents patrons with a unique concoction. The Chef's special Omakase dinner is available on request, and is truly a special treat. For appetizers, guests rave about the Mango Lobster Salad.
A nice selection of Japanese plum wine is available, and white and red wines are available either by the glass or bottle.
