John's Pizzeria, located at 408 East 64th street, has been a neighborhood mainstay since it opened it's doors in 1984. Owned and operated by the same family that opened it's original location on Bleeker street, John's has served and satisfied many Upper East Side residents, surrounding hospitals, and businesses. Top entertainment personalities frequent the East Side location and some of their photographs adorn the walls.
Although John's East Side branch is located off the beaten path, it has had continued success over the past two decades, making what many pizza aficionados hail as "the very best pizza in New York City
and beyond."
What separates John from the rest? It's the oh-so-thin, crisp and chewy crust, complimented by the slightly sweet sauce, mozzarella cheese and fresh toppings, which are prepared daily. The pies are baked on the bricks of their famously coal-fired oven, which char the crust, and add to it's mouth watering flavor. John's menu also includes fresh pasta dishes, appetizers and desserts.
John's has a cozy atmosphere, and from Spring through early Fall, you can enjoy your pizza and pasta in it's outdoor garden. John's also caters to parties and special events and is proud of it's reputation as a child friendly restaurant. TAKE OUT; OUTDOOR DINING
