In just over five years, Lili's Noodle Shop & Grill has become one of the most popular Chinese restaurants on the Upper East Side. Dressed in yellow and green pastel coloring and beachwood floor panels, Lili's gives off a hip vibe, which sets it apart from the other local Chinese eateries. The large space boasts a staircase in the center of the room that leads up to a second dining room, which is often used for private functions and Chinese banquets, and overlooks the larger dining area below.
An open kitchen on the main level at Lili's shows off the chefs in action, as they prepare some of the tastiest food in town. Many noteworthy regulars frequent the restaurant due to its reputation and inventive dishes. Lili's Pork Shoulder Shanghai Style and the Shredded Dry Bean Curd with Hot Pepper & Pork or Chicken are two prime examples of what Lili's has to offer. A large soup menu features both Cantonese and Mandarin selections.
Another reason that Lili's has become such an attraction is because of its large offering of specialty drinks, with names like "Love Potion", "Coconut Kiss", and the "Zombie". Bubble Iced Tea, of which Lili's carries 47 different varieties, has become a sensation in the neighborhood as well.
The New York Daily News stated that Lili's is "a stunning two-level restaurant - the Upper East Side's version of Ruby Foo's". The Zagat Survey has always rated Lili's highly, calling it "a notch above the typical
noodle house". MID-WEEK DINNER SPECIALS; PRIVATE PARTIES; PRIVATE ROOM; ON & OFF PREMISE CATERING; HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE
