Piccolo was opened in 1988 by father and son team, Dino and Dean Philippis. Once you visit Piccolo you will feel as you’ve been there a thousand times. The experienced waitstaff, who have been with the restaurant for many years, are knowledgeable, attentive, friendly and courteous and will cater to your every need.Piccolo received the “Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator for 2011 for its 500 bottle selection.
Chef Andrew Crabtree and the kitchen staff make extraordinary dishes including Short Rib Cannelloni in a black truffled cream sauce with melted mozzarella and fresh peas; their trademark dish, Jumbo Stuffed Artichoke with melted goat cheese; and Sole Roberto, lightly breaded filet of sole with a chopped tomato basil sauce. Let Maitre d’ George Rojas spoil you with his gracious service.
The updated decor is elegant with rich dark woods, cream colored walls, a beautiful mahogany bar, banquette seating, and candlelight. Enjoy live music by “Uncle” Don Sands on the piano nightly. Piccolo is a member of opentable.com where they won the Diners Choice Award. They are also rated in Zagat as one of the Top Thousand Italian Restaurants in the USA.
