Gracious host and experienced restaurateur, Vito Patronelli has been operating his Basil Leaf Cafe for more than twenty-five years.  Tucked away in a quaint shopping plaza, the restaurant is made up of two buildings joined by an outdoor patio.  The charming dining rooms have different looks, one romantic with tones of green, and a double sided fireplace, the other with a long brick bar, wood burning oven, terra cotta flooring, and vintage photographs of classic old time movie stars.  There is a third room upstairs available for private parties.

Vito is very particular about the food that comes out of the kitchen and everything is cooked according to his specifications.  Customers agree that the regional Italian fare is consistently delicious, “cooked to perfection”, “worthy of five stars” and “their vodka sauce is the best”.  Dishes are not fried and cream and butter are not included in their recipes.  Everything is made fresh and on the lighter side.  Specialties of the house include homemade pastas, fresh fish and a wide variety of brick oven pizza.  Popular entrees are Tagliolini Con Gamberi E Arugola, homemade spaghetti with shrimp, arugula and fresh tomatoes; and Costolette D’Agnello Grigliate alle Erbe Aromatiche, grilled tender baby lamb chops with mixed herbs.  The international wine list has a diverse selection with many Italian labels.  Enjoy one of their luscious house made desserts and an iced capuccino or a chilled cocktail during the summer on the patio surrounded by lush greenery.
