Known for great fun with live mariachi music, classic Mexican cuisine with a modern flair, awesome fresh fruit margaritas, in four energetic, inviting, colorful restaurants, Margarita’s Cafe is celebrating their 6th Anniversary in East Meadow, where all the fun began and continues today in their newest restaurant in Hicksville.
Husband and wife owners William and Miriam Martinez designed the menu and oversee the operations in all their restaurants. Each location has its own character with a different dining experience, however, the food is the same consistent, high quality authentic Mexican cuisine. We enjoyed their signature freshly made table side guacamole; queso fundito, with a smoky flavor from chorizo and served in an iron skillet; empanadas with hearty flavors; paella en casuela with lobster, shrimp, chorizo; and tacos Mexicanos, tender chunks of steak, a little spicy. Their signature margaritas made with natural fresh fruit like watermelon, and many other varieties including frozen margaritas are not to be missed. Real Mexican tequilas, original recipe red and white sangria, and an international wine list are popular. Look for the "Shot Girls" giving out their complimentary tequila shots at the Margarita party celebrations. Service is friendly and efficient.
The lively atmosphere is made for fun with bright colors of yellow, pink, peach, green, and purple, comfortable banquettes, Mexican arts and crafts, vases, artwork, and a vibrant bar scene.
