Owners Ben and Heather Freiser are self-proclaimed literary geeks so it was no surprise that their new restaurant would take its inspiration from literature. The classics are made reference to throughout the restaurant and on the menu. For instance, headings on their gastro pub menu are prologue, chapter one, writers block, and the plot twist. Executive Chef David Bryer created the menu and there's something for everyone. As one diner stated, "scrumptious to the last bite."
First pages of famous novels hang on the walls and there's a bookcase/secret door to the restrooms. Bookcases are filled with novels, there's an exposed brick wall, and tables are made of wood planks. Ben and Heather believe "a good meal or perfectly poured drink, like a good book, can nourish the soul." They go on to say, "we designed a place with the perfect food and cocktails to cure any case of writer's block."
